Parallelism of grammatical methods in Sunan Ibn Majah-The news method as a model

Abstract

This research attempts to shed light on the parallelism of grammatical methods in Sunan Ibn Majah, due to its important role in the coherence and cohesion of the text. Syntactic parallelism is an important mechanism in constructing and organizing the text, and through it we can understand the nature of the text and its structural patterns. Given that the research is limited to a number of pages, we decided to take only the news styles, so that we can take a pause from the rest of the styles in another research. The study started from the concept of parallelism in language and terminology, reaching to address types of patterns of parallelism of grammatical methods; to demonstrate the importance of syntactic parallelism in constructing and cohesive the text, and we ended with a conclusion that included the most important results. The study adopted the descriptive and analytical approach in reading and interpreting the texts.
