Plagiarism Policy

The Babylonian Journal of Mechanical Engineering (BJME) upholds a strict commitment to maintaining ethical standards in scholarly publishing. The journal firmly opposes any form of misconduct, including plagiarism, falsification of data, fabrication of results, or the submission of previously published content without proper disclosure.

To ensure the originality of all submissions, BJME employs advanced plagiarism detection systems, including AI-powered tools such as Turnitin. Beginning May 1, 2023, all manuscripts undergo a comprehensive similarity assessment prior to entering the editorial review process.

In cases where substantial similarity or overlapping material is detected, an official review will be conducted. Any manuscript found to contain extensive plagiarism or improperly cited AI-generated content will be subject to immediate rejection.

Through these practices, BJME seeks to foster an environment of academic integrity and responsible research. Authors are strongly encouraged to adhere to ethical guidelines and to contribute original work that advances the field of mechanical engineering in a trustworthy and ethical manner.
