Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Screening

Authors are required to adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification is strictly prohibited in the Mesopotamian Journal of Quran Studies (MJQS), including duplicate publication of an author’s previous work without appropriate citation.

Every research paper submitted for publication is screened using Turnitin after submission and before being forwarded to the editorial team for review. In cases where overlapping or similar text is detected, an immediate investigation will be conducted, which may result in the rejection of the paper.
