Author Guidelines
The Mesopotamian Journal of Arabic Language Studies (MJALS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal welcoming contributions from scholars worldwide. It publishes research articles in both Arabic and English across a broad spectrum of Arabic studies.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the MJALS Word Template . Submissions should be made through the journal’s online submission system. Only manuscripts prepared according to the MJALS format will be considered for review.
Originality
Submitted manuscripts must be original and should not have been previously published or be under review by any other journal.
Review Process
MJALS employs a single-blind review process in which expert reviewers evaluate each manuscript for originality, clarity, and relevance to Arabic studies.
Review times may vary depending on:
- Reviewer Availability: Timeliness and detail of reviewer feedback.
- Review Rounds: Number of iterations required to meet journal standards.
- Author Response: Timeliness and completeness in addressing reviewer comments.
Open Access
MJALS is an open-access journal. Manuscript submission and publication are free for all authors.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest by submitting the COI Form with their manuscript to ensure transparency and uphold ethical publication standards.
